leadership of the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID),
the United States-Asia Environmental Partnership (US-AEP) is a
public-private initiative that promotes environmentally sustainable
development in Asia. US-AEP works in four program areas �
Policy,
Urban,
Industry and
Technology
Cooperation � and embodies a model of cooperative development that
encourages US and Asian partnerships, engaging key decision-makers who
affect economic change and environmental awareness in Asia and the U.S.
With our wide range of partners�governments, NGOs, academia, and the
private sector�US- AEP has become a flexible, responsive vehicle for
delivering timely answers to environmental questions.

Policy Forum
US-AEP hosts a
bi-weekly Policy Forum for the officers of foreign embassies, government
agencies, think tanks, NGOs, multinational corporations and anyone
interested in how policy shapes environmental decision-making. The Forum
features presentations by environmental policy specialists from around
the world.
The Policy Forum is on
hiatus. Stay tuned for the 2003 Schedule, which is currently in
development.
