subject of supply chain environmental management (SCEM), provides a context for the issue,
and includes case studies of best practice examples in SCEM. The report is not intended to
be a comprehensive analysis of the issue. Rather, it provides a summary of the topic and
examples of SCEM programs of leading firms. This
report was prepared for the United States–Asia Environmental Partnership (US-AEP), a
program of the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), under its Clean
