A man has filed a lawsuit against dozens of businesses over allegations that he developed malignant mesothelioma because of his occupational asbestos exposure.
Mr. Mark Spence has filed a suit on 16th June in the circuit court of Cook County against Monsanto Company, The Scotts Miracle-Gro Company and several other businesses.
According to the suit, Spence had been exposed to hazardous asbestos particles from the products designed, made, sold, distributed or marketed by the defendant corporations during his job. The suit indicates that Spence worked in different capacities including a lawn care specialist, home remodeler, and tradesmen laborer. His exposure to asbestos took place from year 1968 until 1990, the suit states.
